Susan will be signing Prints and Cards at Sow a Seed Boutique, for Walnut's Christmas Walk weekend.

Susan Prince, of Depictions PhotoGraphics of Walnut, Iowa has dug deep into her treasure trove of Walnut photos to select a few of Walnut's favorite things. With a bit of Christmas magic and Susan's PhotoGraphics Workshop, she helps Santa fill his bag with Walnut's special “toys”; our Rolling Hills Bank & Trust is transformed into a Piggy Bank, and who wouldn't want to wake up on Christmas morning to a shiny antique car from the Walnut Optimist Club 2007 Antique Car Show!

“Checking His List” is but one of several new Holiday and Winter scenes, included in Susan's 2007 Ltd Edition, First Print Christmas in Walnut Collection. Also expect to see an embossed look “Old Fashioned Christmas”, country winter “Christmas Mornings” and Lamp lit snowy twilight at the edge of town, “Coming Home”.

These Hometown Holiday scenes and more are available at Sow a Seed Home & Garden Boutique in Walnut, Iowa, as Postcards and Prints, as well as DEPICTIONS new Greeting Card product; a unique 5”x7 “ postcard-style Greeting Card with envelope. Susan designed the non-fold card with a dual-purpose in mind; that the card may be easily frameable for those on your list; to serve as a Gift, as well as a Greeting.

The finest quality, acid-free and archival papers are used in all DEPICTIONS products, making them a giftable and lasting momento. Have you noticed Walnut’s new look? In photographs, that is. Susan Prince of Walnut, Iowa, is proudly putting her hometown on display, via her new business - Depictions PhotoGraphics Art & Design.

Susan explains, “Every day I walk out my door armed with my camera, because I know I will see a new “postcard” image that was not there the day before. I feel very happy for what my photographics and illustrated art provide to me; not only a great artistic outlet, but also a way for me to contribute to my very special community. Of course, my hope is that the people of Walnut will enjoy my art as much as I do.”

Susan’s artworks include a wide range of subject matter, from the simple beauty of Walnut’s landscape; and special events representative of Walnut, to the transformation of our own Antique City Drive into a lighted, snowy village scene. Themed prints portraying Four Seasons of Walnut were displayed in the Walnut Booth at the Iowa State Fair in August.

Susan’s photographic art and original illustrations are available as wall prints, calendars, and are also being applied to stationery products, such as postcards and notecards. Meet Susan and take a preview peek at a first offering of Susan’s new stationery products by Cheryl True at Sow a Seed’s Fall Open House, scheduled Saturday and Sunday, September 29-30.
